Vantage Data Centers Joins NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Center Colocation Program

Company Supports NVIDIA Customers with Scalable Facilities that Optimize Power and Cooling

Santa Clara, CA (July 11, 2019) – Vantage Data Centers, a leading provider of wholesale data centers in support of business and mission-critical applications, today announced that it has joined the NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Center Colocation Program. This program enables Vantage, with its portfolio of current and planned facilities across North America, to help organizations deploying NVIDIA artificial intelligence (AI) systems scale their infrastructure to support machine learning and AI initiatives.

“Vantage’s facilities are purpose-built to power and cool high-density GPU clusters for applications such as machine learning and AI,” said Mark Freeman, vice president of marketing, Vantage Data Centers. “In addition, we have implemented efficient, flexible designs that allow us to scale quickly as demand from leading-edge applications like these increases.”

High-density applications that require AI systems like DGX place significant demand on data center resources, including power and cooling, which conventional data centers may not have the capacity to address. Vantage has expertise in deploying and operating a variety of cooling systems, including closed-loop chilled water and outside air economization, to maximize efficiency and sustainable designs. The company offers turnkey solutions, empowering customers to focus on building innovative applications rather than managing infrastructure.

“Enterprise organizations are adopting shared IT infrastructure architectures to support the rapid growth of high-performance, dense compute applications,” said Tony Paikeday, director of product marketing for the NVIDIA DGX Systems and Data Science Platform. “To simplify this transition for customers, we created best practices and guidelines for data centers to ensure they meet the requirements of our high-performance computing systems and the applications customers will run on them.”
