Vantage Signs Wholesale Deal With Leading Silicon Valley Software Company
Santa Clara, CA – Vantage Data Centers (Vantage), a leading provider of data center solutions in support of mission-critical applications, today announced a major Silicon Valley software provider will deploy a multi-megawatt data center in Vantage’s facilities in Santa Clara. This deal provides the company with convenient access to mission-critical facilities from its Silicon Valley-based headquarters, and builds upon the momentum of last month’s agreement with Symantec.
Vantage’s ability to offer best-in-class, energy efficient data center solutions made the company an attractive alternative to its customer’s own data center, which was not equipped to support future high density needs without a multi-million dollar facilities upgrade.
“We’re pleased to be able to offer the flexibility and state-of-the-art facilities that support rapidly growing demand in the Silicon Valley marketplace – right in the backyard of the world’s most influential technology companies,” said Sureel Choksi, President and CEO, Vantage.
Vantage delivers a high density (400W/sq. ft.) solution in its V2 facility in Santa Clara—Silicon Valley’s most energy efficient facility with an annualized PUE of approximately 1.2.
Vantage’s customizable and flexible data center solutions help meet the varying requirements of Silicon Valley and deliver operational excellence to a wide range of customers. The company’s campuses in Santa Clara and Quincy, Washington, include four enterprise-grade data centers totaling over 100MW of potential capacity.
